They can take you to court, but they will contact you to try and work things out first. They WILL NOT arrest you – there aren’t any debtor’s prisons in the U.S.

You have to prioritize your bills, and pay the important ones first. If they do end up taking you to court – do not miss the court date. It’s only small claims court, and if they won’t make payment arrangements for you, the judge will.

And wages can not be garnished without a court order.

You will need a debt consolidtor that specializes in payday loans. They will probably need some collateral to secure the consolidation.
As far as closing your account, depending on what state you are in, you have left yourself open to bad check charges, ( I mean charges brought against you in a court of law) and the punitive damages thereof.
Depending on your contracts you are also open to direct garnishment of wages by the lender, or court ordered garnishment.
The longer you wait to work on a fix the worse the situation will become (and interest!!).

You’ve made yourself a bad credit risk. Unfortunately for you, your terrible handling of money will make it all but impossible for you to get any kind loan. I suggest you downsize your lifestyle and pay off your debts. There are no “easy” solutions for the mess you’ve put yourself into.
